Ah, weddings! The time when love is in the air, everyone’s looking their best, and there's always a chance for that one relative to hit the dance floor like a maniac. Pat and Kayleigh's wedding was no different, and it was an absolute delight to be a part of their big day at the picturesque Dodford Inn in Bromsgrove.

The day kicked off bright and early at Kayleigh's parents' house, a good 30 miles from the wedding venue. With the ceremony set for 1:30pm, the morning was a whirlwind of activity. Despite the tight schedule, the house was buzzing with excitement, laughter, and the occasional tear – perfect for capturing those candid moments that make wedding photography so special.

One of the highlights of the morning was the tender first look between Kayleigh and her dad. If there’s one thing that gets me every time, it’s seeing a father’s eyes well up with pride and emotion as he sees his daughter in her wedding dress for the first time. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room, including mine!

The bridesmaids, looking stunning in their dresses, added to the festive atmosphere. Just when Kayleigh thought the day couldn't get any better, her parents unveiled a surprise: a gorgeous vintage Beauford wedding car. This classic beauty was the epitome of elegance, turning heads as it made its way to the Dodford Inn.

As the clock struck 1:30pm, the ceremony began. The guests, dressed to the nines, filled the venue with a sea of smiles and a palpable sense of joy. The ceremony itself was a beautiful blend of love and tradition, with heartfelt vows that left everyone moved.

Post-ceremony, we headed to the lush green lawn for family photos. The Dodford Inn provided a stunning backdrop, making every shot look like a scene from a fairytale. The weather was on our side too, with the sun casting a perfect glow over the proceedings.

Dinner was a grand affair, followed by speeches that ranged from tear-jerking to downright hilarious. Then came the evening's entertainment – a kids' disco that had everyone, young and old, showing off their best moves. The night rolled on with the cutting of the cake, a sweet moment that was immediately followed by Pat and Kayleigh's enchanting first dance.

Pat and Kayleigh, thank you for letting me be a part of your incredible day. Your wedding was a testament to the power of love, family, and a good old-fashioned party. Here’s to a lifetime of happiness!
